Broadband Purpose Association
The broadband purpose association was established on March 23, 2012, with the aim of supplying the member communities with glass fiber in order to provide access to the best possible Internet infrastructure.
Milestones of broadband expansion in Dithmarschen:
- Establishment of the broadband purpose association on March 23, 2012
- With the awarding of the contract on June 30, 2015 and the subsequent publication in the Official Journal of the EU, the previous consultation phase is over.
- Marketing in the pilot cluster starts on October 28,2015 in Schafstedt-South.
- The groundbreaking ceremony for the expansion of the district of Dithmarschen took place on March 9, 2016 in Schafstedt.
This project is supported, among other things, by the state of Schleswig-Holstein.
